Azuli Logo

I was asked to create a logo for the band Azuli, for this project I studied the bands genre and brand image. Azuli describe themselves as "a dynamic alternative rock band striving to create a wall of anthemic guitar music", I took this and created a font with both smooth and . rough edges, a bold outline and a textured centre.

I began by drawing the entail font and filling it in with acrylic paint, I then scanned this into a computer and digitised it. This allowed me to edit it in various ways, such as creating the wave effect, and the texture, I created this as a transparent so that the band could place the logo on images and different backgrounds in order to promote in any way they pleased.
